Cotee River Highlights

Both residents and fishing persons out for a river boat ride enjoy beautiful natural scenery for 1¼ miles down river with residential area further down river to the Gulf.  Birds, wild flowers, animals, and trees, all a part of natural settings starting at the Nature Preserve right across the river from our Park. Birds, turtles, fish jumping, manatees, even a small alligator on occasion. Raccoons in the morning hours. It’s a canoe / kayaker’s paradise. Small tributaries along the way to explore. Neighbors and friends provide pontoon boat rides and some great socializing.  Fishing? Good sometimes, poor others. Typical.
